Did Phillip Bates actually do the right thing?

I think I remember an expression, something about rats abandoning a sinking ship? This ship is definitely sinking FAST.

This is BS. PB knew what kind of a team he was on. He made the decision for HIMSELF.

If you think Bates did the right thing, I really hope you don't have kids.

If you think he didn't, then you aren't listening to the Baylor game.

So... by your rationale you wouldn't have a problem if every guy on the team quit tomorrow... Get real.

So when times get tough, the answer is to just give up?

This game goes WAY beyond times just getting "tough". We are getting HAMMERED by BAYLOR. The second-worst team in the conference! This means we are the single-worst team, by a really wide margin.

    Apparently so.

Homer: "You did your best and you failed miserably. The lesson here is never try."

I think it's from the Odyssey, somewhere towards the back

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

Okay... So lets all storm the Jacobson building and demand that the ISU Football team be disbanded.

Let's keep it to the game thread.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
