    Has anyone else noticed....

our lack of taking shots down the middle of the field. I know for a fact there were many times that Kansas was playing the run with one of their safety's. It just bothers me that we don't try more stuff in between the numbers. I know this started to sound a little negative and thats not what I want. I love this team and we are for sure headed in the right direction. Oh yeah L.J. is the man, in a year he is going to be a beast!!!

I think the TE needs to get involved across the middle. We have some very capable TE's and they need to be utilized. Especially in the middle of the field. It just makes everyone else's life easier.

Holy freaking crap!!! That is what I've been saying since the 3rd quarter. We NEVER go across the middle. The one time we did, it work. How are our TE's not wide open when they brought their backers?

I agree, when we have sets involving TE's it is becoming all to obvious that we are running or just keeping the TE to offer extra pass blocking...would love to see some quick dump passes in the middle or having a TE settle in the zones for some first downs.

I agree that they are talented, but under utilized.

    Re: Has anyone else noticed....

This is one thing that my friends and I have talked about. We're throwing everything out toward the sidelines. We need to take the occasional shot down the middle of the field to keep the defenses honest. Right now, they're sitting on the sideline routes.....we're getting the catches out there for short yardage, but we're not able to break anything long with them because the safeties are both shading toward the sidelines also.

Maybe folks should e-mail their suggestions to the football offices. I'm sure the coachs in breaking down film haven't noticed this. If they follow the suggestions we have we should win all the rest of our games

I've been begging (to myself) to see us actually throw to the TE in the seam for once.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

    Re: Has anyone else noticed....

I would agree with this as well. I also think that we should take more shots down field. With us having some good speed at the receiver position, I think some long balls would be good. Not saying do it 10-15 times a game, but i think we need to use the speed that we have and use it to our advantage at times.

    Re: Has anyone else noticed....

If we threw to the TE's more, it could slow the interior blitzes and keep the safeties in the center of the field a second longer, giving AA precious extra time to go downfield. If they blitz from the stong side of our set, just dump the ball down to the hot receiver. I'm just sayin'...
