    iPhone calendar function

Looking for some iPhone help if anyone has figured this out.

Goal: Wirelessly syncing calendars between two iPhones without using Mobile Me.

Right now I'm trying to get it done using Google calendar. All my wife and I would like to do is be able to enter an event on one phone and have it show in the other phone also. (yes, this will stop many an arguement)

    Re: iPhone calendar function

I don't know a way of doing it wirelessly.

We currently do it by syncing with our computer. We created some different "folders" with our calendars in Outlook and both have them synced to our phones. At a glance, I can tell (by the color of the event) if it's something for me, her or both of us.

I have no idea if this would work. Heck I even doubt it will. But have you tried using the Bluetooth functionality of both and doing it that way?

Guess I have never used the Bluetooth on my iPhone to test what can and cannot be transferred/synced.

    Re: iPhone calendar function

update: signed up nuevasync.com last night and pointed that to my google calender.

From there I just pointed both phones to the same calendar. Seems to work okay. Although events aren't color coded which would me kind of cool. So far the update between phones is pretty quick. I added a dr appt on my phone and it was on her phone within 15 mins.

I basically used the existing microsoft exchange account that was already on my phone.
