Kansas is seriously ranked #16? Even sans running game? OK, I guess.

Missouri plays Texas this season, but none of the other "powers."

Wish we had their South schedule rotation.

I wish we had anyone's south rotation schedule but ours.
Why can't they change the rotation every 4 years or so?

    'Tis a good question.

Kansas has the same rotation that we do, only they get the powers in the opposite seasons that we do.

We shall see just how "good" KU is once they actually have to play the big boys.

Um......no. Alabama is ok, but they sure disappeared that second half, and GA isn't all that great. LSU 3? Really? I am not all that impressed with them so far this year at all.

    SEC hater?

Alabama played really conservative in the second half. One of those 3 teams, or Florida will probably play in the national championship.

If you go by actual on field performances this year, there is no way you can not rank Bama #1.

OU is number one because they were subjectively ranked higher preseason.

Re: Ready to knock of #16??

Alabama at #2 reminds me of South Florida last year. I'm highly skeptical of anyone who has that quick of rise to the polls... especially considering how much parity there was last year. They wouldn't even be near that spot if they hadn't beaten Clemson... who, by the way, lost again last night to Maryland. At Clemson. Top 15 team? You bet. #2? They've got a long ways to go.

I don't disagree at all with Oklahoma at #1. They beat a surprisingly good TCU team, and have destroyed all of their other opponents in games that were over before halftime. Missouri is a bit more questionable, since they are a little loose on defense. They're like a Texas Tech on steroids... except that the Raiders appear to be making their own bit of noise this year.

I'm ready for this team to knock of Kansas. It's been awhile since a really big win, and this weekend is the best chance they have had in a long, long time.

ISU gets the shaft probably more though as it seems historically the get OU/TU scheduled on back to back weeks to add insult to injury. they get the B2B treatment in either 2010, or 2011 according to the schedule.

care to elaborate on this statement? I think any team that equals TTU on steroids is unstopable.
