    Was curious if anyone else was planning on going? I'd love to go but need to find someone. Any groups have room?

    Another guy and I were talking about going. Send me a pm the week before the game, and we'll let you know if we're going.

    We go to at least 1 away game/year. We usually head down Thursday night, golf on Friday, hit the town Friday night, and tailgate & go to the game Saturday. We then rest after the game and head home Sunday.

    I'm flying in on Thursday and will be with another Cyclone fan and two Cowboy fans. This will be my first trip to Stillwater...I'm looking forward to it!

    Stillwater is a great town. Make sure you go to Eskimo Joe's. Fans are generally pretty easy going.

    i was there this summer for the wichita state vs okie state baseball regional game. we hit up eskimo joes=great time. also, i would agree that, even during the summer (town was nearly empty), the cowgirls we saw were worth a second look. and in most cases a third and fourth.

    My wife, son, and I are heading up to the game from Dallas. We went the last time the 'Clones played at OK State as well and hit Eskimo Joes before the game (which was completely packed - tables and standing room).

    The fans are okay but from my experience of going to games at OK-State, OU, Texas, Baylor, A&M, and Texas Tech the A&M fans are by far and away the nicest to deal with. I've been to three Iowa State games there dating back to our non-conference game back in the early 80's and their fans have consistently been very nice to the opposing team. Of course my favorite outing there was our 10/29/05 routing of A&M, 42-14. It stands as their record home loss at Kyle Field to this day. But even throughout that game and after the fans were very polite.
