ISU coaches take notes on UNLV

That is how you play aggressive on Offence. That is what a spread is suppose to look like. That is a walk on sophmore QB that is out playing both of your 3 or 4 star soph QBs.

having one game thread is really stupid

Way too many posts all at once and its impossible to have any sort of convo

Most of it is just people venting.

who cares if it takes up the front page for just a few hours.

Why not keep it here on its own?

I'm taking a wild guess they might have figured that out on their own...

Not trying to throw salt on the wounds as I am a long time Cyclone fan but that was not an ordinary "walk on". I watched that QB take his #1 ranked Illinois high school team to an undefeated season and the State Championship trophy. He also led the team to a 1 loss season his junior year. How he did not get picked up by major recruiters is beyond me ( they thought he was too small for QB). But you are right on about what an aggressive offense looks like. I don't think the ISU coaches are adjusting quick enough. When you get twenty some yards in the first half and are down 2 scores, get off the run and start opening up the offense (see 2nd half)
