    Old tennants mail.

I don't know what to do.

For the last month and a half I have been receiving this guys mail, including what I assume are bills. It appears he has no forwarding address (if he did it wouldn't be coming to me so often) so if I took it to the post office it would likely be redelivered to me, right?

It is piling up pretty quickly and sort of an eyesore in my apartment, anybody have any advice, short of just throwing it away.

This happened to me. I told my mail carrier and he made sure not to deliver any more of it.

    Re: Old tennants mail.

Give it to your landlord, he would probably have a forwarding address, and if not, then at least you don't have to feel guilty about throwing it away.

Yeah, if you don't want anymore I'd talk to or leave a note for your mail guy.

Write "Return to Sender. Does not live at this address.' on one of the pieces and put it back in your box. The mail person will take care of it from there.

I did this a bunch of times, and it didn't work until I told the mail carrier personally that I was the only one at the address that mail should be delivered to.

    Re: Old tennants mail.

Thanks, I think the landlord route would work best. The post office serving my side of town is a store and the person working the counter is always an 18-20 year old so I don't think that would help much.

I googled the guys name. He used to be a wrestler here. Thanks for the suggestions!

Does he get any good mags? I like when the previous owners of our house get good magazines.
