    The wife did it again.

So she scheduled a trip to Minneapolis this weekend. Anyone know where a game watch in Minneapolis will be? What time is kickoff also? Thanks.

You should be grateful that you will be spending a weekend in the best city in the Midwest....

Do you HAVE to go? If it's a shopping weekend, I don't see how she could make it mandatory for you, and technically she can't, according to paragraph 3, section 4, in the unwritten man's guide to marriage, unless she pulls the old, you're not gettin' any, which according to Appendix B, trumps the shopping weekends are not mandatory rule. Although, if she happens to be either going through 'the cycle' or experiencing PMS, disregard the 'you're not getting any' rule, because she is in 'hate man' mode. Or, you could just play old school, give her a guilt trip about the game, this way you will get to watch it and she will probably get you something nice for going with her. Otherwise, might I suggest Hooter's in the Mall of America, that's where I went when the wife drug me up there on a game day. If she has a problem with it, tell her it's the only place that has the game on TV.

Wanna switch wives for the weekend?

Also my man book at home says I have to go because we are bringing the kids to see her sister and taking them to the zoo if the weather is nice. Yeah I know the Minneapols zoo is not that great but kids like zoo's.

I could go watch the Vikings get there can's kicked again with Gus Ferotte starting QB but I am not sure if they are in town.

I will go ahead and pass on this offer. The Vikes are at home against Carolina at noon, too bad the Twins are @ TB this weekend or you could go watch them blow their playoff chances.

I understand, but the Hooters thing might still work

I will shoot for the hooters thing. Maybe I can buy her an outfit and have her dress up like a hooters chick for Halloween.

Next time we play Vegas in Vegas I am going for sure.

Re: The wife did it again.

Just to confirm...There is an official Alumni Association game watch at Joe Sensor's in Bloomington. It's a great place to watch games! There were nearly 250 people there for the Iowa/Iowa State Game.

PM me with your email address and I'll forward the official Alumni Association invite.

Re: The wife did it again.

    I have no sympathy.

I missed the Iowa game because my mother-in-law bought us tickets to Thomas "The Tank" Engine, in Boone. Without asking if we had anything going on! I told my wife I wasn't going, and she cried because she said I thought the game was more important. We don't even have a kid, we were going with our nephew who is two and wouldn't even realize if we were there or not.
