    2008 Surprises

Who has stepped up in your mind and become a surprise player for 2008 so far?

    Offense

Easily Houston Jones so far. Came in as a QB. Now playing great at WR.

    Defense

Mike Bibbs isn't much of a surprise, but is playing a lot better than I expected. Doing great so far.

I agree, I have been really surprised by Jones and Bibbs. I'm surprised a lot of the freshman are as big of contributors as they are too. Loving LJ, Darks, Sed, and Benton.

    Re: 2008 Surprises

Finally Houston gets some love, Im glad he is getting his reps, i talked to him one night before the season and he didnt even know if he was going to get to play (thats how day to day the depth chart is) WR playing time has be a hot contest. Unfortunately we saw some of Marquis Hamiltons frustration come out this past weekend. I think Sed has some further developing to do, Darius Darks is playing real well too, hes making some good catches. Houston reminds me of Flynn, he is a go to guy that can make the catch on 3rd down.
Leonard Johnson is impressive as a person and as a player, he has such high aspirations in life and football that its something else.
Kennard Banks is a true player, and its unfortunate he is out right now, but look in his eyes and you can tell how badly he wants it back.

PS, Bibbs has helped our defense in ways that can not be measured this year, going to be a guy we miss next year.

Houston has been great thus far, great hands, good ability to get open, and has caught balls under pressure, I've been very impressed with his play.

I like the 3 of Jones, Sumrall, and Hamilton.

What are you referring to here? I thought he had a bit of a breakout game against Iowa.

Personal Foul was some emotion, some frustration

Is this team completely united or are there still a few holdouts? Is there a leadership struggle between some older players and the young turks? Who are the true leaders on the team?
