    Josh Freeman

Article on the front page of ESPN, thought it was kind of interesting

ESPN - Freeman living up to his bold preseason claims - Big 12

"These are my new shoes. They're good shoes. They won't make you rich like me, they won't make you rebound like me, they definitely won't make you handsome like me. They'll only make you have shoes like me. That's it." - Charles Barkley

    Re: Josh Freeman

I think that I will disregard this, and reread at the end of the Big 12 season and then compare notes. Would be nice to see them play a real team first before annointing him anything.

Many NFL scouts are saying he will be a mid-high first round draft pick. He's big (almost Jamarcus Russell big), strong arm, and mobile. He might be a better NFL player than college player, though. Graham Harrell, Sam Bradford, and Chase Daniel are better college players than he is, IMO. It will be interesting to see how much he has developed from last year.

    Re: Josh Freeman

Here is some more on Big 12 quarterbacks in general. Looks like Austen is at 11th. Seems like a pretty nice complement to all the quarterbacks in the Big 12.

Just to show how much homework the author of that piece did, the KSU offensive coordinator is Dave Brock.
