    V.Young vs. media

This media coverage of Vince Young going "missing" the other day (he was actually playing video games at a friends house) needs to stop. Now they are talking that he may be was or still is suicidal. The last thing he needs is everyone invaded his space if he is in a bad mental state. Now SportsCenter is having a piece about him wanting to committ suicide. Leave the man alone and let him get better.

    Amen!!!!
They have no business diving into every part of his personal life, "even if it affects fantasy football players."

It's really going over the edge.

I am agreeing with you wayyyyy too many times tonight.

I can see two sides to this.

It is his personal life, leave him alone.

He gets paid a ton of jack and part of taking the job is knowing that you're going to be under the glare of the public spotlight at all times, and the large compensation package he enjoys is made possible under the knowledge that this would be true.

    Re: V.Young vs. media

Let's just say this is true. The therapist telling the coach, maybe I can buy that. If it's leaked to the public, somebody needs to see a consequence for that. I'm a big believer in confidentiality for cases like this.

    Re: V.Young vs. media

That was my first thought. Why is the therapist sharing any of that with anybody? If there are serious concerns that person needs to go to the police themselves, not a coach or ESPN.
