How much water can the field take

We all know JTS's field can take a lot of water, what about the field at Kinick?

I don't know about the water and the field, but we all know the football players can't handle their booze.

Hopefully some of that $80 million renovations went towards improving the drainage system.

Re: How much water can the field take

Anyone remember iowa's field 2-3 years ago when it was in absolutely horrendous shape during the first couple of games? The divots that were coming up were absolutely huge.

The two times I marched on that field for band I vaguely remember not being impressed with the quality of the field.

Maybe we can get the Hawks down there, since it's 10:57 on Friday nite and the Hawks still suck...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?

Tech must not have a natural grass field if they're going to be playing there tomorrow.

They keep the grass high and the field wet and soft intentionally -- Iowa is historically one of the slowest teams around and they do anything they can to slow down teams that spread the field and put faster receivers on the field.

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.

Does EIU cover their field with a tarp, was unsure if that was a common practice in the NCAA, or too expensive.
