    turnovers and special teams

If it rains at the game tomarrow like it is right now in central iowa, I am predicting anywhere from 5 to 12 turnovers for the game many of which will happen during kickoffs & punts. Who has the advantage?

All I have to say for our guys: use both hands and cover both ends of the ball. Hopefully Shonn Green has major fumblitis.

thats a pretty narrow gap to hit. why didnt you just say "anywhere from 0 to 1,000,000 turnovers for the game"

I agree that there will be between 0 and 1,000,000 turnovers. Maybe that should be a Cybookie event?

    Re: turnovers and special teams

I think that if there are between 0 and 1,000,000 turnovers, it will probably favor whoever recovers more of the turnovers. I prefer apple turnovers to cherry turnovers.

the winner of the game will be whoever scores the most points, not who recovers the most turnovers. duh, what were you born yesterday AND in a barn?

and no cherry are way better.

I agree and disagree with you. Of course the winner will be who scores the most points, but recovering the most turnovers may go along way toward scoring the most points. And cherry is bad. I even prefer peach to cherry, but I like apple best.

You're one for two here. For the record, cherry turnovers are better. Apple are good, but not good enough.

Apple turnovers are solid. Cherry turnovers are soft.

    Re: turnovers and special teams

Why has no one mentioned the strawberry/cream cheese turnovers from Casey's? They make both apple and cherry look silly...

Turnovers: there will be some. By both teams, regardless of rain. If we win the turnover battle, we win.

This got a bit side tracked. FYI and i know none of your care, but I like neither apple nor cherry. If I had to pick though....Cherry!

NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

If the weather is anything like tonight it could be way more than 12. My son plays for Johnston and there we over 30 fumbles between Johnston and Hoover in the game tonight. No I no joking. More than 30 fumbles!
