    Arnaud is the next Manning

Seriously guys! Look at their stats and tell me if Arnaud is not the next Peyton Manning. Possibly better

    Arnaud: 63% Completion Percentage
Manning: 62% Completion Percentage while at Tennessee

I think it is pretty obvious that Arnaud is going to be that good if not better. He throws a very accurate ball.

This post is brought to you by the Hawkeye (Jon Miller) way of thinking!!!! AKA Stanzi = Chuck Long

Nothing at all like taking what someone says out of context, is there?

Frankly, I think Stanzi's ball looks like Chuck Long's. And I said so before Miller ever did. That's still a long way from "being another Chuck Long".

And as long as you're being facetious, I was just thinking the other night that Arnaud looks kinda like Warren Moon, when he was with the Vikings. Seriously.

And does that matter? Hell no. But is it my opinion, and do I have a right to it? Hell yes!

And does Miller have a right to his, without being belittled? Hell yes!

Go over to hawkeye report buddy. I used Jon Miller along with Hawkeye fans as examples. Over there everybody is proclaiming him the next Long. After 20 some passes against horrible competition

I believe Jon Miller said repeatedly that he does not think that Stanzi is the next Chuck Long, all he said that he is accurate like Chuck Long. I do not know how after listening to that and hearing him say he is not the next Chuck Long over and over, how that anyone could take that from what he said.

Re: Arnaud is the next Manning

So he compares him in every way, but to avoid sounding like a moron, says he doesn't think he is like Chuck Long? But yet he still compares him to him?!?! It's the same thing

And once again, forget I said Jon Miller than if it upsets some of you. I have talked to 3 Hawk fans today who have said the same think. He has what "Brad Banks" has is what one guy told me

Re: Arnaud is the next Manning

So, by your logic, if last year I had said that J.J. Bass was a juco like Blaise Bryant, and had similar size to Blaise Bryant, and similar speed to Blaise Bryant--that would equate to my saying that he was the next Blaise Bryant? I don't think so, because there's a lot more to it than that.

How about a better example...God forbid that some Cyclone fans were comparing Sedrick Johnson to Randy Moss--or a horde of other talented players over the last six months. Does that mean that he's the next Randy Moss, or that they really think he will be? Heck no. Does it mean that they have no right or reason to make comparisons--especially without being belittled?

Please, feel free to answer me that one.

Hopefully after this weekend, most of this ridiculous back-and-forth crap--even between our own fans--will be over. This site has been about three times goofier than usual this week.

Re: Arnaud is the next Manning

Speaking of Peyton, remember his Senior Year at TN?

Funny stuff. I remember they were basically already saying he's got the Heisman locked up. I remember during the ceremony, they only zoomed into Manning, and I remember HE LOST. I then remember the media throwing Charles Woodson under the bus because he won (called him selfish bc he declared for the draft early and all of that).

Lastly, I remember Peyton rocking a mowhawk/mullet..... Good times

None of the above reminds of AA, even though I think he's the right guy for the job.

Shame on you for defending Miller on a ISU board.
