    Harrison Barnes-Open Gym

Coach Mac is at AHS, at an open scrimmage, right now. Supposedly Jeff Capel, Coach K, Tim Floyd, Billy Donovan, and several others are going to be there.

I've been hearing a lot about it the past week. It's like a get together of the nation's top college coaches. I wonder if they'll hit Applebees afterwards

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

lol. all those people at a scrimmage. Hard to believe that a bball player can be good enough to swing millions depending on how he influences the future teams he plays with. Man, I hope he decides to attend ISU.

This is getting ridiculous. Why cant we go back to the days were we all were speculating that HB was a silent verbal to ISU?

Sorry to be off topic, but Wallabys needs a serious overhaul. Can they please tear down and start new. I like the food, but the seating and lay out need to start over from scratch.

Gives me the willies thinking about this attention. Please, please come to ISU!

The back-room at Wallaby's is where the basketball team eats before everygame..that's why I brought that up.

The back room at Wallaby's? Seriously? You would think they could do a little beter than that.

I just can not envision any scenario in which this kids stays in Ames.

I don't know if he and Chim know each other at all, but I'm sure that signing him this week sure won't hurt.

    Re: Harrison Barnes-Open Gym

Dude...Sounds like my highschool open gyms. Right............
The keys for Barnes are there. He just needs to give the commit and the whole dang university is his. He won't get to say the same thing at those other Higher tradition schools. Not only that, Duke, Kansas and Kentucky have been early exits in the NCAA tourney the last few years (minus KU's NC this year)

Len, lace up the sneakers and get over to Ames High (aims high) and check out this situation

I wonder if Mac invited Billy Donovan to supper? Some great BB minds in one place, too bad the BB facality isnt done to show off to these coaches. Anyone think Mac is trying to pick up an idea or 2 from them.
