    The color guy was horrible.

Can't we find a decent color guy for these games? If I had to hear another plow horse reference, I was going to scream. Did anyone see a pyramid on the floor? According to him, Taylor "literally" had the team on his back.

We went through a carousel of bad color commentators last year, and it looks like we're in for another year of annoyance. Oh well, here comes another year of a muted TV and John Walters on the radio.

I don't think he was terrible, but I will admit that something better needs to happen....with the crappy TV feed and lighting, it looked like a B-rated movie production...but if we win then by all means keep it up!

He did refer to us as the "Iowa Cyclones"
    and repeatedly mispronounced Monson's name.

He also called Corey McIntosh, Cory Mackenzie a lot.

I thought MN announcers on Full Court were actually very good (minus the Yah Sure Ya Betcha Dont Ya Know MN Accent). They did a great job of unbiased announcing. If it wasn't for the accent, and the Big11 logo over the score, I wouldn't have been able to tell what side was calling the game.

Did you hear him call Taylor "SPE-cial" there at the end? If he can "literally" carry an entire roster of 17 guys on his back, he must be...

Amen! The color guy also seemed happy when the goophers made their runs. I don't want that in an ISU telecast.

I heard Hallihan on one game the other night, I thought he was great, can't we sign him up?

Hallihan was very good....my only suggestion for him is that he is a little too thorough and redundant, but a great guy, great character and i would take him again.

Did anyone else notice that the color guy sounded EXACTLY like the guy who does color on the ESPN World Series of Poker broadcasts!?

Re: The color guy was horrible.

I got sick of the thing he kept repeating about every 3 minutes "Iowa State has only 8 scholarship players, 4 of them returning." I bet he said that a dozen times in the second half! Like we didn't hear you the first few times...

Did anyone notice how the color guy kept talking about HIM and where HE's coached and WHO he knows.....get a life, we don't care about some washed up coach that can't hack it as an announcer

Was it just me or did his voice and coments remind you of the guy who does the poker tournaments? I swear they are related.

Leave it to Whitey to complain about the Color guy.

    Free your mind Whitey.

Yeah well, ya know, that's just, like uh, your opinion, man.
