NU Lineman reinstated-Stinky Fingers is back

So much for integrity. Pelini needs lineman and he needs them now. ESPN - Christensen reinstated after acquittal on assault charges - College Football

On the wall before the Cyclones step on the field at JTS is the Bronze Plate that reads "Honor before Victory", the Huskers subscribe to the "Just Win what ever the Cost" mentality. What a Joke, Pelini is a Joke.

This is why I loathe KNU more than Iowa even. You guys think I am hard on the Hawks, wait for Bugeater week. I gotta ask, was one of this guy's heroes one of the Peters brothers by chance?

God forbid anyone debate the merits of the case. Does anyone know why the charges were dropped? Like maybe, because he was innocent?

It came down to he said she said, and no one would corroborate the girl's story.

I heard an interview with a reporter covering the trial. Supposedly there was a witness who backed at least part of the girl's account in a deposition. His memory became fuzzy when he took the stand. The guy just happened to be a former husker player who knew both parties.

Re: NU Lineman reinstated-Stinky Fingers is back

    Gentlemen,
The young man was found not guilty. Unless you have personal knowledge of the situation or evidence to the contrary I think it is wrong to pass judgment. Saying Bo Pellini is a joke is pure folly at this point. Just because you want it to be true doesn't make it so. Let's worry about our guys. Just my opinion.

He was found not guilty. Why should he not be allowed to play. I don't know the circumstances of the case but as far as I can remember in this country you are innocent until proven guilty.

Re: NU Lineman reinstated-Stinky Fingers is back

Wow, you guys are a little bit harsh, don't you think. The player in questions, Andy Christiansen, the immediately suspended/kicked-off the team since the incident took place. What else was Pelini to do? Now that he was found not guilty of the felony, he has been reinstated with a very tight leash. Pelini spoke with Andy and his parents about the reinstatement and the ground rules which have been laid.

He is/was a good player and starter in the past, but there's no way he sees the field this year. He will probably try to get a medical redshirt since injuries cost him the majority of two previous years.

Here's a World-Herald article on the acquittal. Although most of the jury thought he did something, there was no proof according to the jury.

The witness is Mike Stuntz, former Husker player. Supposedly he was standing right next to her, or very near her, when the "incident" took place. Guess he was too busy to notice what was going on?
