    Burleson Out For The Season

Not good news for the Seahawks:
ESPN - Seahawks lose Burleson for year with torn ACL; Morris sidelined - NFL
Seahawks wide receiver Nate Burleson is out for the season with a knee injury.
Burleson tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee while trying to cut outside on a pass pattern on a rain-slicked field in Buffalo Sunday during Seattle's 34-10 loss in its season opener.

It doesn't matter, they have no other options. They need a playmaker and they aren't going to pick that up at this time in the season.

I'd be more than a little surprised if Seneca saw any significant time at WR. Great athlete or not, you don't generally put your backup QB in a greater position to get injured more than a couple key plays here and there.

Charlie Frye is their number 3 and it sounds like he actualy had a decent preseason. I think he got dinged up a little in one game, and Seneca actually had to come in and replace him that game despite a sore groin or something. Not sure what Frye's status is now. I'm done holding out for Seneca at QB though, I just want to see him ON THE FIELD!!!

He is there 3rd string qb, Hasselback & Charlie Pride . I agree with the other's that think he will start practing at the wide receiver position.

They wouldn't have had him in for the punt return if it wasn't a consideration.

Frye is listed as 3rd string on the newest depth chart.

Right. Seattle was already looking vulnerable before the game yesterday. The Bills simply embarrassed them. The door is open for Arizona - they have Seattle right where they want 'em.

Will they let 'em off the hook?
