    On Bates vs Arnaud 'potential'

Let me preface this by saying I think we should keep things exactly the way they are with our QB rotation. The production we are getting from the QB position right now is really beyond anything I thought we could hope for.

That being said, one thing I keep hearing from the 'pro Bates' camp is his 'potential' and that we haven't seen what he can do yet. I agree. I think he has allot left that we haven't seen, most of that being what he can do with his feet. However, the same can be said of Arnaud and his arm. I think we got a taste of that with the deep post to Sumrall for a touchdown in the first quarter. That was a NFL throw. Had the coaches wanted to, Arnaud could have easily hung 400+ yards through the air on SDSU, and 300+ on KSU. He is completing a absurd 80% of his passes right now.

Again, this isn't a post advocating one guy over the other, just a reminder that BOTH guys have allot we haven't seen yet, not just one of them.
