    Bears

I was really suprised with the Bears win last night. The offense didn't do anything fancy but actually moved the ball. Forte looked really good, Orton did enough to win, and the Bears defense was healthy and looked very good.

IF they can stay healthy, I still think the Bears have a shot at the NFC North.

    Re: Bears

If the Bears stay healthy and continue to play like that, they will win the North.

Unless TJ or Rodgers sets the world on fire.

    Re: Bears

Having Mike Brown healthy is HUGE. They kept him deep, even though he likes to creep up, just to keep him healthy. This allowed the corners to bump all day and throw the Colts off with their timing routes. If Mike Brown finsishes a full season the Bears will win the North.

Madden talked about Brown last night and his injuries...Madden said that Lovie is keeping Brown back in the secondary where he belongs instead of letting him run around a la Bob Sanders. And that should help keep Brown healthy because his past injuries were from letting him run all over the field.

I think you said it perfectly. He doesn't have to be stellar. I think he is the right choice to do just enough each week to lead the Bears to victories. So far, I like it!

    Re: Bears

I gotta say I was pretty impressed with the Bears last night. Did you catch the interview with Urlacher after the game? Andrea Kramer said nobody thought the Bears had a chance to win and Urlacher looked surprised. He said the Bears thought they would win. That's how they played too.

    Re: Bears

Forte is the man. That was BEAR football.

    1. Run it down their throats so our extremely poor QB can't lose the game for us.

    Re: Bears

Fun game to watch. I didn't think the bears would be worth anything this year. Last nights game is making me reconsider that.
