interesting scores from IA and ISU 1st week opponents

I see that SDSU thumped Youngstown State 40 to 7, almost as bad as Ohio State beat them. Maine snuck by Monmouth College 21-17.

I know it doesn't prove anything, but so far Iowa has played two of the worst teams anyone could possibly schedule.

I think so. They are one level below Maine, same class as Drake.

Cool Re: interesting scores from IA and ISU 1st week opponents

I believe Monmouth is non-scholarship football, just like Drake. But Iowa is good because they would have kille Monmouth like 56 - 0

I agree that it doesn't prove anything, but it does make me feel good that our opponents are more worthy than we first thought. Can't wait to see what happens this weekend when their qb has to face a decent pass rush, and a long 3rd down situation.
