    Scrimmage

Lucca: Shot the ball well , Did a nice job getting to the rim.
Brackins : Rocking the mohawk, made some 3s, but would like to see him stay inside. The story for his season is to keep Brackins from getting double teamed.
Haluska: Shot the ball extremely well. Might have missed two shots all day.
Christopherson: Played for the first time since surgery. Did not appear to have any problems with the knee.
    Boozer: Didnít play
    Hamilton: Stress fracture, didnít play
Buckley: Did his thing, not flashy but solid.
Wes: Love how this kid plays, sees the floor well, didnít shoot as well as he is capable of, but had a finger all taped up.
    Barnes: Heís really really good.
LA: Rebounded well. Needs to finish better.
Mann: Struggled to get his shot off, probably needs to redshirt.
Kadima: Only 16 but definitely fits in, looking for a commitment,
Vanderbeken: Didnít like the effort on the defensive end.
Petey: Consistant with what everybody saw last year.
    Lee: Didnít play
Thompson: Lost some weight, looks good defensively, but offensively struggles at times.
DG: Got to the rim, didnít shoot the 3 very well.
Gilstrap: Struggled gaurding Barnes, but shoots the ball well, can dribble/pass in the open floor, wish we had him this year, capable of having a wow play.
My opinion, we have way more weapons this year than last...but young.

So rumors of Christopherson having a career ending injury are overblown? I forget, can he play this year?

    Re: Scrimmage

Is there any doubt that Harrison Barnes could come in as a high school junior and start for ISU right now?!?

Toss up between Brackins and Barnes for the best player on the floor.

    Good news for Barnes?

    Bad news for ISU?

My guess is a heavy mix of both.

    So True!

Although I think there are probably a lot of teams in the country that HB would be one of the top 3 players on the team RIGHT NOW. The kid is that good

Kind of what I felt, I just wish more people could see it.

Ah-h-h, while others drink their KoolAid, there nothing like a deep draught from the pisspot of pessimism.

Frankly, I won't guess either way, I'll just take a "wait and see" attitude--which seems to be exactly what Harrison is doing right now.

Indeed. On the other hand, we also have kg-cyclone's assurance that Gilstrap could also help our team right now...which is a whole lot more than some are expecting from an unheralded recruit.

Any thoughts on who would be the starters as of right now? 3-guard setup, or what do you think?

    And Brackins has a mohawk???
