    Picture of The Holding Call

The Ames Tribune has this picture of ISU's Shawn Moorehead (#40) being held by MU's Chase Coffman (#45). Can someone send this to the Big 12 office and ask for a retraction of their statement?

They would just deny they ever saw the picture too.

Witosky will break a story tomorrow that the picture was doctored in Photoshop by an ISU Computer Science student.

Good luck with the B12. After this whole deal I am convinced that the B12 is only looking to help the rich/good teams and the hell with anyone else. I can just see them coming up with this, "Even though were wrong lets try and convince bowls that mizzou is actually better than they are." BULL-F*CKIN-$HIT

Rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Nah..Witosky will add a Natty Light to Mooreheads hand and claim Wayne Morgan somehow worked with a outside beer vendor to provide said beer in return for a highly regarded juco running back.

It looks pretty bad concidering Daniels barely made it into the endzone on 4th down and I am not even sure he made it in before he fumbled. Pinkie needs to stop whining and the Big 12 office needs to get a completely new staff. How about some people that look at the plays based on what happened rather than who is playing the game or when the play is during the game?

Hey there! Go right on ahead and send it yourself!
    Bob Burda, Director of Communications
You can get his email by going to www.big12sports.com and opening up the FB weekly release. His email address is right at the top. To prevent his email address from getting collected by a spambot, I won't post his address here. As we are all good sports, unlike Coach Pinkel, we wouldn't want Mr. Burda to get spammed.

I'd send the picture, but I've already sent him one email today, and I don't want to monoplize his time...

Technically, according to the ESPN article, holding was called on Monte Wyrick, so this picture probably does not depict the holding that drew the flag, but it is holding nonetheless.

Holding? He's not holding. He's just looking for a piggy back ride. No harm in that.

    Actually, it's his version of a man-crush.

Re: Picture of The Holding Call

Wow, that is a pretty damning picture.

But if the names and numbers are correct in the article and the picture, that's not who they called the hold on.

It was #71 the right guard. Watching the replay, he held - by definition (arms extended outside the width of his body) on McKenzie too. And since McKenzie made the intial contact, who knows how close Daniel would've got, or not.

Of course, true to form for Big XII officials to make a controversial play out of an easy one.

Re: Picture of The Holding Call

Has there been a press release for this yet?

Or just the little private call to Pinkel who leaked it?

Missouri fans are stuck with Pinkel for 5 more years...and I couldn't be happier. He is the Quinn Synder of football.

******-how many times, at any level of FB, do they call a penalty on a player and get the wrong number. The photo doesn't lie-Pinkie does. Shut up and take your loss. Mizzou was a 14.5 favorite-if you are the "conference title contender" you claim to be, the game shouldn't even come down to the final play. Mizzou got out played Saturday period.

    PinkelG@missouri.edu

Someone mail that picture to Mr. Pinkel, or hell for that matter everyone mail it to him, on the hour every hour for the next week.*

*The author of this post is joking and does not condone the use of spam or any sort of email bombing as a tactic in the punsihment of idiots with the rare of exception of when necessary to stop any extremists from EIU.
