    McCarney's Farewell Victory - Pics

I was one of a few fans who chose to attend the ISU - MU football game last Saturday to see one of the greatest football coaches in ISU's history coach his last game as a Cyclone. It was a little chilly, but the close game made it easy to cope with the weather. It was football weather for pete's sake! Gotta love it!

The thrilling ending was a great way to end McCarney's era at ISU, and a fitting recap of how the season had gone. The 4 wins that the ISU football team was able to clasp onto may not have been the prettiest to see, but I sure got my money's worth out of them. They were fun and exciting!

After the final play of the MU game, students and some fans rushed the field - not because of the huge upset, but to thank Dan for one last great memory. Here are some of the pics I was able to take to help me remember this forever! I hope you like them!

Dan is in three of the pics; the one where he is trotting off at halftime, and he is a "where's Waldo" character in two other because I had to hold my camera up to try to get a good shot, and, well, only partially succeeded...
