    I can't find the answer on cyclones.com.
Will my 2-year-old need a ticket for the game Saturday?

I 'think' the answer is yes unless he is a CloneClub member.

I'm glad you asked that. I'm looking to bring my 2 year old as well, and since this is the only game we'll make it to this year I'm not sure I want to buy him a lil-clone club membership yet. I may still do that so I can take him down on to the field for the team running out though.

    Here's your answer from cyclones.com

    Game Day Policies</STRONG>
All customers, above the age of two years old, require a ticket for admission to Iowa State athletics events. If you wish to check the location of seats, click Jack Trice Stadium or Hilton Coliseum for facility seating diagrams. The “Will Call” window for the general public is located in the Athletics Ticket Office, north of Gate 5 at Jack Trice Stadium for football and in the Hilton Coliseum Box Office (south of Hilton) for basketball, volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics. Tickets lost, stolen or left at home will be duplicated ONLY for the original ticket purchaser (ID required). The fee for the duplicate tickets is the full face value. If the original tickets are returned to the Athletics Ticket Office unused within the following two weeks of the game, the fee will be reimbursed. Duplicate tickets can be picked up only at “Will Call”.

    Re: Ticket Question

To me that means 3 & up need tickets and 2 and under do not.

That's how I take it as well. We took her to some basketball games with no ticket and they never asked any questions.

    Re: Ticket Question

I think anything over the age of 2, meaning after their second birthday are supposed to have tickets. That being said, if your kid is 2 1/2 nobody is going to ask to see his birth certificate, just say he's almost 2 or something, the guys at the gates aren't exactly Rhodes scholars.

    Re: Ticket Question

Yah, I'm sure you can bluff the kid's age. The guys at the gate aren't going to force you to show any identification proving his/her age.

You should just buy a cheap ticket through the ticket office anyways. Every little bit helps.

If they mean what you imply they should make it read 2 & above instead of anyone over 2yrs old.

I believe you are fine until 3 given the way it is written.

2 and above and over 2 is the same thing though..You wouldn't say "people over 17 yrs old can vote", you'd say "people over 18 yrs old can vote".

Actually, I would say people under 18 can't vote or those 18 & older. I'm just saying the wording is open to interpretation.

As a former member of the media, I've been there done that. It's neat, but not something I'd pay to do again.
