ill take our beloved clones to cover the spread

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

They lost to Boston College 21-0. Either Boston College ain't all that great or the Golden Flashes have a defense worth considering.

Me, I like our chances but no way I'm bettin' on this one.

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I also saw Iowa as a 26.5 point favorite over Florida Intl, and Utah as a 21 point favorite over UNLV.

The last game was supposed to be 10 points. We beat that spread and would think we could this one too.

I would take ISU giving those points. I think the victory will be in the double digit range.

Will anyone be putting up some real cash online for this?

Just put all of my assets up for this....

    GO CYCLONES!

Seriously, I never bet on cyclones games. First, I just want to be able to enjoy the game and not worry about covering the spread. Second I just don't feel right about it. I've met a lot of players and coaches and I don't like the idea of betting on them.

    Just my 2 cents

ISU and Iowa games are like stealing candy from a baby this week. I watched Kent State and they are not good.

I expect Iowa to cover by 30+. ISU by 14+
Of course I am sure many people have said this exact same thing and lost there house:)

Re: Early Line - Kent St

With our youth, we should have a steeper learning curve. We should improve faster than other teams, assuming our coaching is good.

Otherwise, both BC and ISU had +3 turnover margin, and this could be considered a form of luck. If you look at the total yards and first downs for both games, they are a lot closer than the final score shows.

Wow, did you watch our game?

If you want to consider luck and comparative stats, take away 7 points and 80 yards of offense for SDSU. The one truly lucky play in our game was the forced fumble by ISU that ended up 10 yards down field and the 2 ISU safeties both tried to dive on the ball. It squirted out to the SDSU receiver just standing around, he picked it up and ran it in. Being up 4 + scores allowed me to laugh at the play....

Remember how close the game was.... we didn't punt.
