Does the extra couple days help ISU?

Do the extra days that ISU has to prepare for Kent State really help them a lot? I think so. The coaches had a couple of days to look over the ISU game and work on correcting problems, and there were several, then they have a week to look at Kent State and figure out what they thing will work against them.

I think it depends on how many days the players (not to mention coaches) get off. But I'd think that extra time to look at film is always a good thing.

I don't know about the players, but this time of year coaches do not have any time off. It is foot ball season. You have 12 saturdays to make your team better than the other guys team. I would be very dissappointed if the coaching staff took the weekend off.

    Yes, it does.

    Seriously?

Who said anything about the weekend? I hope they (and their families) at least take the time for a barbecue together, even if it's in the parking lot of the Jack.

I would think that just the fact that the ISU coaches could focus on watching Kent State play BC without distraction is a benefit.

I think it's a nice advantage. This early in the season, there are a lot of things to work on and put in the system. Two extra practices are great.

Re: Does the extra couple days help ISU?

I would think that it helps. It gives us more time to correct mistakes and let little nagging injuries heal. We have a lot of youngsters playing, any extra time for them to adapt is a plus.
