Sed Johnson can REALLY jump . . .

Watched the Fox/Mediacom game tape Friday. Following Sed's TD catch, in celebration with teammates, the ground level camera caught Sed jumping.

Man, his feet were off the ground -- I mean, really high off the ground.

Just wondered if anyone else here noticed this. And, thought maybe some here who hadn't noticed might like to give it a look-see.

Oh, and hey, on the same tape, near the game's start, when TE Collin Franklin made his superlative catch, when he was walking away after the play, his well-proportioned bulk really popped out. So obvious. When I watched his recruiting video tape from his California JUCO days, he looked like a tall WR, I thought. The year off really helped Collin, little doubt of that.

Derrick Catlett really has good hands, too. I can imagine these two big TE/HBs having some big games down the road. Can't help but think Coach Mac has some plans brewing. Anyone else here have similar thoughts after watching the game?

Could be ;-) This photo, though, doesn't come close to showing the elevation Sed showed in the end zone. If you can, check out the Fox game tape.

Near the start of the game AA threw a high pass to Sed and the SDSU guy grapped Sed so he couldn't jump for it. I think the ref just assumed that he couldn't have got it, but maybe not.

I'm guessing with the success he is going to have in football, he won't be around for alot of basketball.

I remember the last time someone tried to do both, the football team was so good that he never played basketball.

    I removed it.

I'm definitely not expecting him to play bball at ISU, at least not until his football eligibility is up...
