    Mccarney

Maybe this is old news to some but I just recently heard that Dan is having some health issues. Possibly a serious eye problem. Anyone heard this?

My prayers go out to Coach Mccarney. We need people like him to be around college athletics forever.

    Re: Mccarney

I hope everything is alright with Mac, but to change the subject a little. I was disappointed to see some of Mac's playbook still being run when last night on a 3rd and short, we ran an option to the short side of the field for no gain. I hated that play when Mac ran it and was hoping to never see it again.

    Re: Mccarney

He has been battling a detached retina for a while now and there are a few corrective options - the most severe being the removal of the eye.

    Re: Mccarney

Coach Mac and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers. With something like this, I don't really care about wins or losses, play calling or recruiting, I just hope for the best for someone who was obviously a good person.

There are other threads where that can be discussed.
