    We had such a great run of good running backs in those years. From Troy Davis, to Darin Davis, to Ennis Haywood. It was so fun watching the team back then.

    I hope we can get back to those days as the run game made our pass game easier.

    Coach Mac hung on Stevie Hicks way too long. Wish he would have cut his losses and found a different starter in that postion.

    Oh yeah, the offensive line had nothing to do with Stevie's ineffectiveness at all...

    I remember Stevie Hicks as having a 1000 yard season, dealing with injuries the rest of his career, and still having quite a few good games. Was he Troy/Darren Davis or Ennis Haywood? Hell no, but I think he was a lot better than many on this board give him credit for. For the record, he averaged over 4 ypc on his career...
