    ESPN magazine Big12 preview

A interesting read with allot of fancy graphics.

They have our D placed in the upper portion of the conference. I hope they are right with the D and we are right about the O.

I find it amazing that according to ESPNdaMag we have the 7th largest stadium, not the smallest...

Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

    Re: ESPN magazine Big12 preview

I find this graphic to be of particular interest:

I think it will be tough for us to meet the first "benchmark" since we are likely to have both QBs splitting time all year, making it tough for either to meet those statistical targets.

However, I do think that it's possible we could get into the top half of the conference in pass defense, pass defense efficiency, red zone defense, and scoring defense. I know our secondary has been pretty flimsy over the last couple years, but the potential is there for that group to be a strength.

Leading rusher with 1000 yards and an average of 5.4 ypc is another benchmark that we probably won't make since we will likely have three guys drawing carries all year.

I definitely agree that we can finish in the top half of the conference in fewest sacks allowed. Our OL improved immensely last year, I think they can continue to become a strength for us.

OSU currently has the smallest, but Colorado, KSU, Kansas, Baylor, and TT also have smaller stadiums then ISU. After the end zone completion we should be getting close to Missouri, though I don't think we'll pass them.

The other thing that is interesting is the record attendance. Check it out: List of NCAA University Stadiums - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'll bet his residuals plot is rather clumpy.
