    Favorite Tailgating Games

I'm not sure if this subject has been discussed recently, and I'm sorry if it has. I wanted to get a concensus of what your favorite tailgating games are, mind you, these can be of the alcoholic nature or other.
If you haven't heard of Polish Horseshoes, study it, learn it, and definitey play it! Easily one of the best games ever created. What is your favorite game to play while tailgating?

    Re: Favorite Tailgating Games

    Drink-a-beer. Here's how it's played:

    Step 1. Drink a beer.
Step 2. Get a new beer.
    Step 3. Repeat.

Pretty simple game and everyone wins!

I really like playing bags, or Here Dummy as my wife calls it, but the best for getting alot of people involved, drinking, and having fun is by far flippy cup.

    Re: Favorite Tailgating Games

I will second Flippy Cup but would also like to add the game Kubb. If you have not played it then you are missing out. Here is a discription from Wikipedia....Oh and to make this an awesome drinking game you put a can of beer on top of 1 wooden block on each side. If your team knocks over the block as well as the beer then the other team must chug the beer. If your team knocks off just the beer then your team must chug the beer. After a beer is chugged it is always replaced right away and then the game goes on.....

Kubb (pronounced /kʉb/ in Swedish or /kub/ in Gutnish) is a lawn game where the object is to knock over wooden blocks by throwing wooden sticks at them.
Kubb can be simply described as a combination of bowling and horseshoes. Today's version originated on Gotland island, Sweden.
Rules vary from country to country and from region to region, but the ultimate object of the game is to knock the "King" over, before your opponent does. This, combined with the fact that there is a surprising level of strategy that can be used by players, has led some players and kubb fans to nickname the game "Viking Chess." However, unlike chess, if a player or team knocks over the king before achieving their objectives, that player/team immediately loses the game. Some games have been known to last for hours.
The game can be played on a variety of surfaces such as sand, concrete, grass, or even ice.
Kubb is a good game for children (under supervision), although in such cases, the 8-meter pitch length (specified in some instructions), ought to be shortened.
Although it is often claimed that the game dates back to the Viking Age and has survived on Gotland, there doesn't appear to be any firm evidence of this. In fact; Föreningen Gutnisk Idrott (The Society of Gotland Games), formed in 1912, does not list Kubb as one of the traditional games from Gotland. There is anecdotal evidence of Kubb being played in various places in Sweden in the early 20th century, but how similar those rules were to the ones used today, is unknown.
The key feature of the game (opposing teams throwing) is shared by the games Kyykkä and Bunnock, both of which come from Karelia or neighbouring areas.
The game became popular in the 1990s when commercial Kubb sets were first manufactured. These first sets used wood available from a factory producing for the catering industry[citation needed], so the king piece was based on a large meat tenderiser, and the sticks based on pastry rolling pins. The dimensions and weight of these pieces have remained standard since then.
The game has now gained international interest, and an annual World Championship has been held since 1995 on Gotland. Small scale tournaments are also becoming increasingly popular on college campuses

    Re: Favorite Tailgating Games

I used to be big about beer pong while tailgating, but it's high maintenance, and the wind always screws you up. That being said, I love playing "Get the F off the Table!" It's basically everyman-for-himself flippy cup. One moderator drops a cup on the table, every chugs and then flips, and the last person to flip their cup is out, and everyone screams the title of the game at that person. Continue until one man is standing...

    Louisville chugger!

1.Buy a little kids bat that is made of plastic.
2.Cut off the end of the bat.
3.Pour a total of 1 beer into the bat.
4.Count how long in seconds it takes the guy to drink the beer.
5.He then has to spin around the bat in a circle that many seconds it took him to drink.
6.Throw the beer can that he poured into the bat, and watch and laugh at him trying to stand up and hit the beer can.
7.No real prize here but shear satisfaction that being drunk and dizzy you can hit a beer can haha

Just promise not to do it on pavement. People prolly won't feel it at the time, but they sure will the next day.

We played it when we went to Apple River and took it up to a bunch of 30-40 year olds and they did it for about an hour and I seen them take out 3 of their tents by doing it. Absolutely hilarious
