    4/5 star athletes

    Hey all,

I used to keep track of this better, but who on our team was rated decently out of H.S.? Any 4 or 5 star preps currently on our team? I know Bo Williams was a 4 star? I know we don't get many 4 stars so I was wondering who all had been 4 stars? Current team and in the last 5-10 years.

It's too bad that Wegher, Gaines, and Lowe are the only 4-star guys giving us a look right now. Anyone know Hobbs' rating when he came to Ames?

If Austen Arnaud hadnt committed to Iowa State early in the recruiting process he would have been and if bates had been listed as a Saftey he would have been as well

    Re: 4/5 star athletes

thanks 85. i remeber back when he signed with us, and then i never heard his name mentioned again. too bad for both isu and mr. patrick. must have been a down year for RBs though, since he was #1 in the country but barely cracked the top 100 overall. gotta wonder what ever happened with him. anyone know if he went to juco or small school and did anything?

    Re: 4/5 star athletes

Web was the #1 All Purpose Back, not the #1 Running Back overall.

He went to a California juco, didn't qualify, i believe spent an extra year, still didn't qualify, and the last I heard was trying to get into Boise State. I never looked to see if he made it.
