    First play of the game?

Reading CF thoroughly tonight has me thinking...

Will we run or pass with our first offensive play? My first thought was run as we will be breaking in a new starting QB and that helps calm the nerves. That thought was followed by our QBs are fine, and good, and why wouldn't Chiz want to go to the air first.

    So... Run? Or pass?

Re: First play of the game?

I think it will be a run on the right side, probably center/guard hole, with Robinson carrying for 8 yards. Next play will be a WR screen or a screen to Robinson. Something safe to give the QB a chance to make a good throw and build a little confidence.

Re: First play of the game?

I predict an attempt at a big first play, so I'll go with a pass. I'd assume the first 15-20 plays are scripted so I could see a couple of runs then a big play action.

I like to try to be fun, so I'll guess a big pass.....

It's going to be a 65 yard touchdown pass--after a long kickoff return.

Play 1 - pitch right to ARob for 8 yards.
Play 2 - play action pass to SJ for a TD.

First play? Call me crazy but I'm going to go with probably a kick-off.

    Kick-off.

Ahh...beat my smart-*** comment by seconds!

But really, we need a Cy-bookie on first offensive play.
