    Carnation Instant Breakfast

    Whey Protein after working out. There's some relatively cheap (<$20) stuff at WalMart.

    I sometimes eat a banana after working out. That is about as close to taking anything that I do.

    Just like yummy chocolate milk that is full of vitamins. I mix a packet with some milk for breakfast and I eat a cereal bar or two and a bowl of oatmeal.

    Creatin before my workout in a glass of Lemonaide. Post workout usually a protein bar.

    Protein shakes after workouts and before bed. I also use NO Xplode about 30 minutes before workouts. It gets results but I don't like the way I feel, so I usually go 4 weeks on 4 weeks off with it.

    Mega Men Sport vitapacks in the morning and whey protein shakes after workouts (all from GNC).


    Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?

    I take a daily men's vitamin, a fish oil capsule and a glucosamin tablet. All are recommendations of my physician. He said the vitamin can't hurt and the other two are to help with joint problems I have in one knee and a back. I guess they are proven to help replenish cartilage. On the glucosamin he said to watch out. Not all contain what they say they will and the stuff is expensive. Because it was a physician's recommendation, I'll say the brand that he said was top notch, Cosamin DS.

    That's pretty much it. I've looked into a lot of things to help lower blood pressure and help with any heart problems (my family on my moms side has a history) and it seems that too many suppliments interact with others in negative ways. This will lower your blood pressure, but, taken with this to lower cholesterol, will raise both, lol. So, I stick with what my doctor recommends and continue to research.

    I take 1000mg of Vit C a day in honor of Linus Pauling
    Basically a balanced diet with lots of fruits, some veggies and I'm good.

    just as a little bit of info - do be careful what you take as a workout supplement - protein supplements are probably the leading cause of kidney stones in males under the age of 35. Drastic increase in young males experiencing kidney stones in the past 10-15 years

    Unless you are a competitive athlete there shouldn't be any need to suppliment your diet with anything more than a multivitamin.
