Fox Sports Network (FSN) Mediacom channel 40 in Des Moines has been running 1/2 hour Big 12 spring reviews of each conference school. After watching 6 hours of each schools program Saturday I have to say we at ISU have the most charismatic, articulate coach in the conference. Coach Macs interviews come across the screen better than most movie stars or media savvy politicians, he is definitely a top 10% personality. The production crew did an outstanding job creating the most unique show of any Big 12 school. They produced the show without a commentator but instead relied on interviews, camera angles and John Walters calling the spring game. It was great to see an overhead clip of DeAndre Jackson taking on the leadership role among the defensive backs. Brent Curvey got a lot of face time and seems to always do a nice job and the new assistant coaches got some face time.

Smallest budget in the conference putting out the best product. Just like Mac to do more with less than any other program.

it actually was kinda crappy..all they did was show some high lights of the spring game.. they didnt even really talk about if they liked iowa state or not

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."
