    Marcus Jordan

Michael's kid, looks like we have now offered.
    Scout.com: Marcus Jordan Profile
I have no idea about his recruitment, but he has really blown up this summer in a big way. He has a good shot at the next Rivals 150. Marcus is a long, athletic wing prospect with a developing jump shot, who is receiving looks from schools like Florida and Uconn.

    Re: Marcus Jordan

My guess is if he is even close to sniffing good enough to pull a UNC offer, that is where he will end up.

I don't think he will get an offer, just because they have a tight scholarship situation. But otherwise, I defnitely agree with you.

Don't we have a tight scholarship situation as well? Maybe I am missing something.

    Re: Marcus Jordan

He wouldn't go the UNC. No one would want to follow those footsteps. He (and his brother) have stated they want to make their own name. Apologize in advance for being too lazy to pull links.

    Re: Marcus Jordan

Yeah, Jeff is at Illinois and did a decent job contributing when asked. Marcus is supposed to be a much better basketball player than Jeff. I would love it... if we could get Marcus... even if he's not that great of a player, it never hurts to have the best basketball player to ever live wanting to be on your campus and having an interest in your basketball program.

    Scout.com: Marcus Jordan Profile
Now shows ISU as high interest, along with Nebraska...that is good news.
He is also now a three star, and the #27 Shooting Guard in the country on scout.

Marcus Jordan is a high character kid as well. He would do ISU proud if he committed.

    Re: Marcus Jordan

I think Marcus Jordan would be a good fit here and not just saying that because of his father my hero growing up. He has good size for being a pg and is improving, I think we have good pg's now, but he looks to be stronger with more bulk good for taking it strong to the hoop and finishing. Plus with the new practice facility and only being what 5-6 hours away from home and in a power house conference and good coaches I say why not Iowa State? So come on board Mr. Marcus Jordan this is a nice place to be here in Ames especially with an up and coming program.

    Re: Marcus Jordan

If you just look at Marcus's pure size, 6'2", 180. That is someone who is built pretty solid already. He has the build to be able to handle himself physically by the time he gets here. Just by normal body maturation he could be 190. This would give him an opportunity to come in and succeed as a freshman. Those are the types of players we need. Guys who have some meat on their bones already, not the ones where we are constantly trying to get them to gain weight. Hopefully Marcus turns out to be as athletic as he appears.

He is a super athlete, and by most reports, is in the 6'4" range..and he is pretty strong already. You can watch videos of him on youtube..
