Fox sports is saying Bo Schembechler died after he collapsed right before an interview. I'm not a michigan fan but it seems crazy that Bo Schembechler dies the day before Michigan and OSU play as 1 v 2.
That will certainly add a twist to tomorrow's game. While I certainly hope (and I'm sure they will) they give Bo his due tomorrow, I hope they don't continually dwell on it throughout the broadcast (not that it will matter to me as I will be in Jack Trice).
I was listening to Lee Sterling on KXNO this morning, and correct me if I'm wrong, didn't he say he would be sitting in a box with Bo and some other guy that played for Michigan in the late 60's and then played for the Dolphins??
correction: the espn article says this...
Schembechler said he did not plan to attend the game in Columbus, Ohio, and that he didn't travel to road games anymore.
Lets say that Harbaugh is indeed our guy. Does Bo passing have any affect on this? I would think that it might delay the schedule of events since I'm sure Jim was close to Bo. Things could get put on hold while wake and funeral take place.
