I don't see this one as that big of an issue. It is Michigan State we're talking about here, regardless of where Texas is ranked.

MSU are you kidding!!! Next thing you know Iowa is playing for the National Title. Which I better be after Im gone cuz if that happened... I really dont know what I would feel. Good that a team from my State made it to the N.T. game or bad that it was Iowa.

Tomm Izzo is not only a great coach but also a class act. I will always respect him after that NCAA tourney freak double foul with Shirley. After that game Izzo was a true gentleman and had nothing but great things to say about LE, ISU, and our fans.

It's pretty early in the season to be judging wins/losses. We all know that the Hawks like to win early and lose late.

And Texas has five new starters. How many were freshman?

I think Texas is very beatable by us..... they don't have the offense and we are defensive minded.

well about UofI FB this year... they focused on September... remember. And look where that got them.

They best focus on November and let the Cyclones keep whippin' their ***** in September.

Did anyone else notice that Durant and Abrams 43 of their 61 points. It looks like if you could slow one of them down they will not be able to score.

I agree, too much emphasis on the ISU game. They treated it like their Super Bowl and forgot about the rest of the season... /snark
