    interesting read on Hicks

Mid-Iowa Newspapers - Go Cyclones - Front Page

I like that he turned down KSU, Iowa and Kansas to be a Clone, and it was all because of the head coach.

Good read, best of luck to Hicks! I hope he can get all of the plays down in time to start for us in two and a half weeks.

Good story. Really wish his family the best. These are the kinds of stories where you really hope he makes it into the NFL, even for a couple years to help his family.

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

Great story sounds like a good kid that is taking advantage of the opportunity he was provided. Makes you want to pull for him. Although I could have done without the mention of being paid cash to avoid taxes. However, due to the high population of illegal workers in California that probably leads the nation in cash wages.
