Follow a mini van that has a bunch of baby strollers in it - they always seem to find the best parking

    Re: Fair parking

Dean Ave on the grass, unless you have a car with no ground clearence. Give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes. You'll find a spot and wont have to walk far.

    Re: Fair parking

I had a ticket to park in the north lot yesterday....but it was full. I wound up parking on a side street on Dean Avenue and 26th....

I would look into the park and ride.

    Re: Fair parking

I parked on 32nd Ave, or maybe it was Street, I dunno. We just walked the few blocks. Going in wasn't bad, but after walking around for 10ish hours the walk back took forever.

    Re: Fair parking

Just drive around the west side of the fairgrounds, we saw a ton of parking down there. We ended up parking in someone's driveway for $5, we were on Lyon street maybe 5 minutes walk from the entrance.

    Re: Fair parking

I always have the best luck parking in the neigborhoods across the street. The main reason I like it is because it is patrolled constantly. Any time I parl off the street it seems my car gets broken into...

I like parking in the grass lot right by the cattle barns in the fair grounds.

    Re: Fair parking

if the fair lot is open, park there for $6. It is worth the extra $1 to not have to park and walk from someone's lawn. Also, the shuttle bus is rediculous. $2 for adults and $1 for kids. That can easily add up to more than the $6 you would pay to park at the fair, not to mention the time it takes to catch a bus back to your car.

    Re: Fair parking

Parked at Toad's Tavern which is behind the Burger King at the corner of the state fairgrounds. $5, just a walk down the street to the main gate. Sunday morning parking was nuts around 9:30am. I usually come right down 30th from Euclid with no problems and it was backed up clear past Easton and I bet I didn't move 1/2 a mile in 20 minutes so first chance I got I took some side streets and found the closet spot I could outside the fairgrounds that was charging reasonable.
