    Re: New Harbaugh Story

Very interesting story.....It could be an interesting 3 or so weeks if all we hear is no comment. If we do talk to him though and we offer him the contract he might as well break his contract there and announce it....who knows though

I don't blame him for wanting to leave San Diego with his boss sexually molesting him in plain view of everyone. :)

    Re: New Harbaugh Story

    Interesting paragraph from the article:

“A quality coach like Jim Harbaugh is going to get informal feelers from major colleges and universities,” said Harbaugh's agent, Jack Bechta. “He got several last year, including some interviews. Don't be surprised if Jim gets several interviews this year. But a lot of people thought he was going to move on last year, and he stayed. And there's a good chance he'll be there in '07.”
Does that mean the schools didn't want him or maybe he didn't want the schools?

I am skeptical about Coach Harbaugh interests in ISU.... even more so after reading this.

    Re: New Harbaugh Story

IMO the most interesting point to the whole story is Harbaugh's agent. Bechta has ties to Iowa and Green Bay. His clients include Tim Dwight, Matt Bowen and Eric Steinbach, as well as Al Harris of the Packers. I don't know if Tim Dobbins has an agent, but it appears Bechta is tied with some of the SD players as well. It would be interesting to find out who JP's agent is (if he has one), and if there are any agents that have ties to Wisconsin that represent any of the coaches JP is reportedly looking at.
