    Recurring Dreams...

I know this is a stupid subject, but I thought I would ask if anybody else had a recurring dream?? I had mine again last night, although it is pretty lame. It involves me either having to go back to high school because someone realized I didn't complete all my course work, or it involves me having to move back into the dorm and re-enroll at ISU because of the same reason. Usually the classes I have to take are different (for example, last night my first class at ISU was a history class on Michael Jackson, no, I have no idea where that came from), but usually the end is the same; I wake up in a panic in the middle of the night and say to myself WTF?!

Anybody else out there as crazy as I am??

    Re: Recurring Dreams...

I still have dreams that I'm playing high school football, although I'm having those less often.

More common are dreams that I'm still in college, its halfway through the semester, and there's a couple of classes that I forgot about and haven't been attending.

I think everyone who went to college has those dreams. The class I always forgot about was math 151. I wonder why that is?

I've had this one, but it's based in my high school taking college level courses (or not taking them, as apparently I've forgotten I was enrolled).

I had dreams for years that weren't necessarily recurring, but always had the same thing happening. I'd be going about my day (in my dream) and I'd be loosing teeth left and right. Finally found out the cause of the dream - I was grinding my teeth at night. Years after I realized this, my mom actually told me she was having dreams exactly like this. Go figure.

The SAME thing happens to me sometimes, what is up with that?! What do you think it means?? Why would my mind want to freak me out like that?!

I have the same dreams where I'm back in school and forgot to go to class all semester and then I find out it's the final. So if I fail the class I'll have to take it again next semester and I won't graduate. My dad (who graduated from Drake in the early 70's) says he still has dreams like that.

    Re: Recurring Dreams...

I've had the HS one several times. I am returning and having to take tests, but I haven't been to school for a long time. Oh, and its the week of graduation and I need the credits to graduate.
Have no idea what it means.

    Re: Recurring Dreams...

I hate those dreams where you think you've forgotten you were enrolled in a class. I always spend the first 5 minutes afte I wake up trying to convince myself it was a dream.

For me I'm always late to take an exam and I can't find the classroom.

My wife graduated from ISU 7 years ago and she has those exact same dreams.

As a kid I use to have dreams about Frankenstein chasing me around, then when we moved onto the farm, he began chasing me there too.

I have dreams about going back to high school and playing basketball, however I'm 70lbs heavier now and am scared to death about how I'm going to get in basketball shape.

Based on the psych classes I took at ISU, your dream is obviously about sex.

Apparently all dreams are about sex. Don't even ask about what the image of a bowl of jello means...

In that case I'm not admitting what my recurring dream was.

I used to have that dream all the time, I had to go back to HS to complete my work there, except I had a BS degree at the time. I also have the one that ISU called and took my degree back because I missed a final, and have to go retake it, except that I show up for the final late and miss it.

After college gets 10 years away, I stopped having that dream.
