    BOR: Basketball Facility

The Iowa Board of Regents will be voting on Thursday to decide the fate of the proposed basketball practice facility. There are no other ISU athletic requests on the agenda for BOR's August meeting.

The official request can be read here: http://www2.state.ia.us/regents/Meet...808_ITEM08.pdf

On another note note, there are plans to rebuild Morrill Rd. in 2010. About time!! You can see that here on page2: http://www2.state.ia.us/regents/Meet...808_ITEM18.pdf

    Re: BOR: Basketball Facility

Hmm, too bad to see no other items on the list for August. The facilities document that someone posted showed bids for JTS phase 2 in October, is there another BOR meeting before then, or does this pretty much blow that timeline?

Very good point, and I don't have an answer when the BOR meets.

    Anyone know this?

    Re: BOR: Basketball Facility

Looking at the AD finances on the last page, I'm starting to think that JT won't get done for another 2 years. In 2010 they have a show a larger increase in revenue. which could indicate a increase in seats.

    Re: BOR: Basketball Facility

Anyone know when we'll find out about the decision? I assume it is only a formality at this point, but would like to know for certain.
