My wife pulled a huge no no. I need advice

She decided to go and invite friends to go to the condo at lake of the Ozarks for the Iowa vs. ISU game weekend. So now I am scrambling to see if the condo has Big 11 network.

If it does not should I royaly p.o my wife and cancel the trip or turn into Bartman at Party cove with earphones on while throwing beads at Neked women.

    Please give your advice.

Or you could still go and skip out for a bit and find a bar that has the game on.

I would find a bar with the BTN, if you're not going to the game, you might as well be in the Ozarks and watch the game for a few hours on the side.

Did she also try to schedule your wedding for the Iowa - ISU game?

If you've got tickets, po the wife. If not, it looks the same on TV in the Ozarks as it does anywhere else. And you get to go boating afterwards.

Re: My wife pulled a huge no no. I need advice

If you can't change the weekend I would still go. No need to royally **** off a wife as I've done many times. If they don't have the Big 10 Network at the condo, hunt around for a sports bar around there that might have it. If not set the TIVO and watch when you get home (not the same, I know). The head phone thing is not a bad idea. If you have a small enough radio and earphones that are hard to see, you'd probably get away with it.

In the future I'd inform my wife (and anyone else for that matter) when planning trips or wedding etc....for September, please check to see when the ISU/Iowa game is!!

Re: My wife pulled a huge no no. I need advice

I got drug to a wedding in Lincoln, NE of all places last time we were playing in IC. Watched the first 3 quarters at a bar then listened in the car up until the interception before we had to go into the church which at that point I slammed my hand on the steering wheel mad that it was still a game at that point and I had to miss the ending. Even more ironic was the 2 getting married are big Husker fans and kNU was playing at USC that night and they were MIA for nearly half their reception because they were watching the game. Great day to plan a wedding huh?

I would find a bar with BTN, and make sure to get sports tickets for you and 4 of your best guy friends on your anniversary next year. She'll get the point.

I would say go to a bar for the game. Unless you have tickets to the game. Then it is her queso for planning something when you were booked.

You should go to Lake of the Ozarks, have fun, and while you're there; look for a new wife..
