    Selling Used Textbooks

What do you recommend as the best way to sell used textbooks online? I am selling back my books from my previous semester, and went with Amazon, but after the fact wondered if there was a better service.

    Thoughts?

I've used half.com myself. It's a pretty good site and doesn't charge to post your items.

That's what I used during my 4 years of school. Bought and sold all books on there.

Amazon charges a commission when your books sell, but I thought the visibility might help there. Might have to check out half.com next time.

    Why?

I hope your reason is good, because that's what I did.

You young'ens and your fancy ways to sell textbooks. I still have my textbooks for learning Word and Excel 97 somewhere in my basement.

Hey, I started this thread, and I'm an old guy.

35 year old graduate student. I save the books I think I will actually use later, but some they just make you buy for the heck of it, I think.

One is a very small paperback that I used for under an hour that cost $55 originally. Robbery.

I'm not too far from you. I start law school in the fall, and I'll be 32 when I'm done. I'm definitely taking notes from this thread on all the advancements in the field of buying and selling textbooks since I was in undergrad.
