Info on Players at San Diego

I went over to the Toreros Website and took a look at the roster...check this out..IMO if Harbaugh would come to Ames he could bring these guys with him and not lose a step as far as losing a year to eligibility, etc. Most of these guys listed are Freshman, Sophmores. The schools next to the players names are where they were being recruited to go.

QB Andrew Rolin (6-3 210) Army, UNLV, Nevada
WR Justin Fontenberry (5-9 186) BYU, UTAH
WR Tony Simmons (6-1 195) Hawaii, Cal, Washington, Houston
RB David Allen (5-10 195) Oregon, Fresno St., Utah
RB Labroi Walton (5-8 195 Oregon
RB Brendan Feliczak (6-2 220) Utah, Texas, Bowling Green
LB Stephen Roseman (6-0 205) Utah, San Jose St., Fresno St.
DB Beau Galbraith (5-10 185) Trinity, Arkansas, Baylor
RB Josh Sutchar (6-1 240) Iowa, Northern Illinois
LB Troy Taylor (6-1 230) TCU
OL Conrad Smith (6-5 270) USC, Colorado
DL Julian Strickland (6-2 235) Oregon, Arizona

Take this for what its worth, but Jim Harbaugh is able to recruit these kids to a non-scholarship school...imagine what he can do to ISU when you can offer scholorships??? I know...the weather is a little better in San Diego and the women might look a little tanner Harbaugh given the resources, can do some special things for ISU IMO

Thats very impressive that he went up against BCS schools and get players to come to San Diego and pay for there own education. Did those players gets scholly offers to go to those schools?

All it says is they were "recruited" by those schools. No mention of scholarship offered. Could mean 2 different things, but either way...he sees talent and goes after it, even at SDSU.
