Who are we looking at for 2026? Do we have any ultrasounds yet for that class? J/K. It is great we got a commit, but that is a ways out there.

Does anyone know anything about this kid? Has anyone seen him play? Where the hell is Rock Valley?

Nope I don't anything about him, but looks to be an interesting one. A 6' 8" freshman?! Man he's got a lot of growing left! I grew an inch my first year of college at Ames.

    Re: 2010 Big Man Committment!!

I have seen him play. RockValley is in the extreme Northwest corner of the state. People sometime forget we are up here. The Siouxland conference is noteworthy for excellent basketball and state championships. RV is a 1A school playing a predominantly 2A league. Recent state championships from this league include Boyden-Hull (1A) and SiouxCenter (2A) in 2003, MOC-FloydValley (3A) in 2005, and George Little Rock (1A) in 2006. MOC-FV finished 2nd in 2006. RV is where Deb Remerde, the girls high school state all-time scoring champion. She won 3 state titles with RV. My son's team has played against his. He is athletic and a very good player but he has yet to play a high school game. There is another player on his team that is just as tall and just as athletic IMHO. I guess at this pint I do not see him as dominating but he could prove me wrong over the next few years.

Judging from your name/post you must live in Sioux Center.......thanks for the props.....I'm a graduate of MOC/FV. I agree, lots of good bball up in that part of the state that mostly goes unnoticed down here in Des Moines.

I know he's only 14/15, but what kind of kid is he? Does he play with a mean streak. I just have a hard time believing that you could base the legitimacy of a recruit off of some middle school games. He must have played well against some high school ballers in an AAU league or something.

relax people, it's not like we have to give him a scholly if he ends up not being very good. we just want to cover our bases in case he ends up being great.

    Re: 2010 Big Man Committment!!

It is an intriguing move, but this guy could be huge and you can't coach height. I am sure they see something in him, and it is good to get in early, albeit this is really early.

I have a feeling GMAC has seen him play a few times. Look at the 15 and Under roster for the Martin Brothers Select AAU team.
