    Are "Men Working" signs sexist?

Do these signs need to be replaced to make them more politically correct?

In Atlanta they are being replaced after a women demanded that the signs not use the discriminatory language. She promises to not stop with Atlanta:

Re: Are "Men Working" signs sexist?

Dammit why do we have to be so politically correct in this country? Every week something's sexist, or racist, or a violation of children's rights.

You know what else is sexist? Registration for Selective Service. I don't hear her complaining about that one...

Are "Men at Work" signs even used around here? All I can remember are signs like "Work Zone" or "Construction."

Unless the subtext reads "NO WOMEN ALLOWED", it's not sexist. Someone's just trying to raise a stink about nothing.
