Looks like the Big 12 North has passed ISU by.

Nebraska looks good. KSU looks good. And ISU was drilled by CU, which had one win prior to today. How sad for Cyclone fans...

Looks like KSU kicked both ISU and Texas arse. A middle of the pack Big XII North team knocks off the 'Horns. Is the South Division that weak?

I think the Big 12 as a whole is pretty weak. Texas is not the same Texas team we're used to. Oklahoma is not dominant.

Overall, we had a 3 year window to make some noise in the Big 12. That window may as well be nailed shut right now and I fear we may have squirted the best opportunities to win the North down our legs. I hope the new coach brings a crow-bar.

In OU's defense, they were not dealt a good hand this year.

True, however, the cupboard is not bare for the new coach.

It didn't help that Colt McCoy went out of the Texas-KSU game early, but of course their D, which is highly ranked nationally, gave up 45 pts.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

As much as I like to see the Big 12 do well nationally, I love to watch Texas lose. That game hurt us somehow with the bowls I am sure, but man did I enjoy it.

Re: Looks like the Big 12 North has passed ISU by.

When the top teams in the conference are getting beat by mid-range teams, I think that speaks to the overall strength of the conference, not the weakness of it. Look at the SEC and the Pac 10 - both of those conferences look great this year - any number of teams can win the conference, and almost all of teams play competitive games every week.

What is NOT a strong conference is the Big 2. Outside of tOSU and Michigan, the next best teams are... Wisconsin and Iowa? Give me a break. A team like Texas Tech would destroy either of those teams.
